Race 11

This is a true cross country course and has a bit of everything - hills, rocks, grass, mud (usually), bush, concrete and a couple of stairs too. It's a great run that keeps you interested the whole way. It's a looping course so you need to listen at the start to avoid getting lost. The name says it all though - it's a mountain so although we mainly run across it, we do give you a taste of some good inclines too. We still run here if it rains as a bit of mud always makes it interesting (and fun). There are toilets close to the start and plenty of grass with trees to climb while you're waiting to start. The only downfall with this venue is the limited parking. Once all the spots up top fill up, it means that you have to park a little down the mountain and walk up. We do try to squeeze as many cars up top as we can, but we need to obey the parking signs up there as Gosford Council can fine you if you park in a non parking area. This course's difficulty rating is 4/5.
